My Husband is a Nerd

Do you remember these “magic sticks”?  They polluted my city and high school during the 90s.  These and hacky sacks.

We wandered into a store today and my husband gravitated toward these sticks and displayed his “awesome skills”.

Upon seeing this, Kristin turned to me and said, “If you guys had met long ago, I think this union probably would have never happened.”

She is so right.

I JUST saw some guy doing this at a Renaissance fair this weekend, dressed in a green vaguely jestery outfit. It both made me impressed and sad. But Jeremy looks so proud and happy, it’s hard to not want to humor him.

  5. At risk of you banning from your blog forever…..that is awesome! I so need to get some and teach my kids!

P.S. Yes, I am a nerd and I am proud!

That can be said for a lot of us. If I’d met my SO in high school..NO WAY. He was a surfer/skater boy and I was a band geek. LOL

  7. Kim, you never showed up last night for the Star Trek convention. You haven’t missed one in years!

  8. I think he may be the only man in America with both that particular skill set AND a wife.

I think you may be right.
